Prom peeps:
It breaks my heart to write this, but this year's Old School Prom at Belcourt Castle is cancelled. The short story is, we didn't sell enough tickets in advance to meet our obligations to our sponsors, the venue, and the numerous people who work behind the scenes at the event every year.
For those of you who already bought tickets, your money is being refunded right now. (Check your credit card statements early next week to make sure the credit appears; if it does not, please e-mail me.)
We are returning the products donated to the silent auction as well. (It may take us a few days to get around to all of you.)
Burke and I would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard on this event in the past. I wish we could have made it happen this year, but the numbers just weren't there. For those of you looking for something to do next weekend, Burke and I have a few activities planned in Newport, and you're all invited. E-mail us directly for details.
